Mr. Buehrer is the President of B.Walter & Co. Formerly, he served as Vice President of Sales for Bionix Medical Technologies, LLC. He was also a Management Consultant for McKinsey & Co, an internationally renown business strategy firm. Mr. Bueher earned a Master’s in Engineering from Stanford University and an MBA from Duke.

This Saturday (April 1st) at 3:30pm and 4:15pm on the 3rd floor of Becker Hall, film students Benjamin Crane, Zachary McIntyre, Joel Livengood, and Joshua Bellis will be holding two test screening of their junior project, “Redshift”, a sci-fi drama set on earth in the distant future after the colonization of Mars. They’re nearing the end of the production process and are looking for audience feedback. Non film production majors are prefered, but all are welcome to attend. State Street Garden Benefit Concert

Spring is here and it’s time to get things rolling at State Street Garden! We’ll put putting on live music, a silent art auction and a bake sale to raise funds for this year’s improvment projects.

The State Street Garden exists to teach area youth about the joy of gardening, the value of healthy lifestyle choices and the value of investing in one’s own community. The garden also exists as a place for neighbors to get to know one another, enjoy the outdoors and to work together to build a more beautiful neighborhood that we can all take pride in.

Cash and card will be accepted for entry, baked goods and art.

5k run/walk tomorrow!

Tomorrow (4/1) Huntington Baptist Church is hosting its 15th annual 5K run and walk. The event is free and is open to the community and participants of all ages. The race begins and ends at Huntington Baptist Church, 2435 Waterworks Road (near Riverview Middle School). The 5K run/walk and a 1 mile fun-run start at 9:00 am. Information and registration forms can be found online at www.huntingtonbaptist.org. Door prizes, refreshments, and awards will follow the race.

You have to opportunity to usher and watch the show at no charge!

Please be aware that we would need you to come in 45 minutes before the show starts. You would need to wear a white top and black dress pants (ladies may wear long skirts as long as they are past knee-length and black) with nice shoes.
We need 2-3 ushers per show.

April 1 at 2pm (Saturday)
April 6 &7 at 7:30pm (Thursday & Friday)
