ABLE Peer Mentors Needed

Peer mentors and student volunteers are an integral part of the Huntington University ABLE (Achieving Balance in Life through Education) program. The ABLE program is committed to providing a college experience for identified students (ages 18-24) with cognitive disabilities. Applications are now being accepted through May 10th and students can pick up an application in the Education Office or at Loew Brenn 287. If you have questions please contact Erica Marshall.

Registered therapy dogs are coming to visit us this Sunday afternoon:
Baker-Roush lounge
3:30 to 4:45 pm
Come to pet the dogs, spend some time with other dog lovers and relax a bit before the last week of classes.
You can see that Sabra is anxious to visit again — she is smiling and looking for students to pet her. (She likes to show off by “talking” for treats and following simple commands. Well, maybe I’m the one who likes to show her off — she is a very nice girl!)
