Big THANK YOU to the students who hosted our incoming freshmen this past weekend! We registered 119 new freshmen, which was the highest number we’ve ever had for April registration! We had great feedback from the incoming freshmen about their overnight experience and we couldn’t do it without you.

J-Term 2018 in Romania!

Are you interested in learning about another culture? Do you want to experience what it’s like to live and work in Romania? Come find out about what the Social Work Department is offering for J-Term 2018! We will spend three weeks living in Sighisoara, Romania, volunteering with a social-service agency called Veritas. They run several programs including children and teen clubs, elderly clubs, and an adults with special needs club. An informational meeting will be held on Thursday, April 27, at 6pm in Loew-Brenn 208. If you are interested in the trip, but are unable to attend the meeting, please email Professor Sutorius at ssutorius@huntington.edu.

I am looking for a photographer for my friend’s wedding on Saturday, May 20! The wedding will take place in a park in northern Indiana at 3pm. Travel costs will be covered, as well as a small stipend for your time. This is a great opportunity to get some experience doing wedding photography and to help out a fellow HU student on her big day!
