Forester Film Festival on May 5th

This year’s Forester Film Festival is on Friday, May 5th in the MCA. Please join the DMA Department for a night of celebrating our excellent student work from this past year. The evening will begin at 6 pm with our Awards Ceremony. We will have a brief intermissions and gallery viewing before we break into 3 rooms by major (animation, film, broadcast) to view additional student work not shown during the Awards Ceremony. We hope to see you there!

Peer mentors and student volunteers are an integral part of the Huntington University ABLE (Achieving Balance in Life through Education) program. The ABLE program is committed to providing a college experience for identified students (ages 18-24) with cognitive disabilities. Applications are now being accepted through May 10th and students can pick up an application in the Education Office or at Loew-Brenn 287. If you have questions please contact Erica Marshall.

In honor of Arbor Day this Friday at 5pm, the Horticulture Club will be replanting the tulip tree donated by the class of 2000. The original tree died last year. The planting will take place just west of the fountain, between the fountain and the annex. Come help celebrate Arbor Day!

There will be a record sale this Saturday, April 29, on Baker 2nd from 12:00 pm to 12:00 am. There are over 500 records to be sold priced from ¢25 to $5.00 including albums, singles, and dance/club mixes with music ranging the decades from 50’s to 90’s. There are also a couple dozen higher demand vinyls to be sold for over $5.00. Bargaining is encouraged! There will be a record player available for sampling the records as well as record cleaning available for ¢25. Cash and PayPal are accepted.
