OTD Miles for a Mission 5k

HU Doctorate of Occupational Therapy students will be hosting a 5k on main campus October 28th at 9am. Olympiad points will be available for those who wish to receive them. The cost for students will be $15 and the cost for non-students will be $20. T-shirts will be available while supplies last! All of the proceeds will be going toward the HU OTD J-term trip to Guatemala to help provide mobility devices. Come out and support fellow HU students! Hi! I am Kay Bennett, a senior in the Exercise Science department. As a part of a Research in Kinesiology project, me and two of my classmates, Nick Evans and Madi Waldfogel, will be evaluating and comparing the fitness levels of Freshmen and Seniors. We will be asking participants to complete a brief survey about stress, along with a half-mile walk test, a sit-and-reach flexibility test, a push-up test, and a BodPod body composition test. Do you enjoy the tulips around the fountain in the quad each spring? Well, now it’s your chance to give back a little!

This Friday afternoon, from 2:30PM-6:30PM, the HU Horticultural Club will be leading a group of volunteers to prepare the fountain landscaping bed for fresh tulip bulbs. Stop by even if you only have a little time between classes. Every bit helps!
