Time to party at MAC’s next event celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month! Join the fiesta on Wednesday, October 11th at 6:00pm in Hardy Basement. We will have an assortment of fun cultural activities and foods celebrating Hispanic culture. Including salsa dancing, music, piñata slaying, and of course, the annual Guac-Off competition! Hello!

Abbey Frisco and I are in the pre-production process of our senior thesis project The Storm, a modern retelling of the Cain and Abel story. We are in need of 15-20 extras (5-6 college student age) for two of our scenes. We will be filming those two scenes Oct. 14th (3-5hr commitment) for a search party scene and 15th (2-4hr commitment) for a funeral scene. Both will be filming in the late afternoon in the Huntington area. If you are sticking around for Fall Break and are looking for something to do, come be in our film!

Alpha Gamma Pi’s Annual 5K Homecoming Fun Run/Walk is this Saturday, October 7th! The run itself begins at 8 AM: registration is at 7 AM in the Plex: cost for students is $10, $5 for 13 and under, and $15 for adults. Every Friday for Hispanic Heritage Month we are having Spanish Tables during lunch at the DC! Come out anytime between 11-1pm and join the Spanish Table. Open to all students! If you are a native speaker, come and get to know some other Spanish speakers on campus, or if you are learning Spanish, or even if you just like listening to Spanish! We only have one rule: Spanish only!
