Please note that anytime Campus Ministries offers elective chapel credit (for a play, convocation, hall chapels, certain lectures, etc.) you MUST find the sign-in sheet from whoever is leading/hosting the chapel or find the student worker who is scanning ID CARDS, and sign (printing preferred) yourself in – legibly; please give your first and last name as well as your ID number. Otherwise, your credit will be LOST.

Today, Wednesday, Oct 11 at 4 pm in Hiner Hall of the Science Hall, Forrest Hobbs, Research & Development HPC Site Manager at NOAA, will be speaking on “High Performance Computing as a Career.” He will give an overview of high performance computing, as well as applications to research at NOAA, business, and careers. This is the father of our own Dr. Collin Hobbs. Elective chapel credit will be given for attending the entire presentation (be sure to sign the sign-in sheet), and the speaker will be available afterwards for dinner with interested students in the Forester Room of the DC.

The Huntington University bowling program has partnered with Rainbow Lanes to put on a fun bowling night to help raise money for this season.
When: Friday, October 27, 2017 from 8:30pm-10:30pm
Where: Rainbow Lanes in downtown Huntington
What: $20 per person for cosmic glow bowling!
Includes: 2 games & shoes, 1 pizza & pitcher of pop per lane. (Based on a minimum of 5 people per team/lane)

Limited space available & must turn in money and register ahead of time.

Abbey Frisco and Ben Crane are in the pre-production process of their senior thesis project The Storm, a modern retelling of the Cain and Abel story. We are in need of 15-20 extras (5-6 college student age) for two of our scenes. We will be filming those two scenes Oct. 14th (3-5hr commitment) for a search party scene and 15th (2-4hr commitment) for a funeral scene. Both will be filming in the late afternoon in the Huntington area. If you are sticking around for Fall Break and are looking for something to do, come be in our film!
