Thanksgiving Break and Class Attendance

As a reminder, face-to-face classes will continue to meet through Tuesday, November 24. Students should continue to attend classes in person unless they are in quarantine/isolation. Virtual classes (Zoom) are only available to those who are in quarantine/isolation due to COVID protocol. If you do not attend class, you are counted as absent. There are no “excused” absences (illness, funerals, athletic contests, and other necessary absences are included in the total number of absences counted). At the discretion of the faculty member, missed work may be “made up.” Please follow this link to find the attendance policy on the Portal.

Classes will resume virtually after the Thanksgiving Break on Monday, November 30, and final exams are scheduled December 14-17. J-Term classes begin virtually on January 4. Spring semester classes begin January 25 face-to-face.
