HU Married, Engaged, and Dating (Seriously) Student Retreat

If you are married, engaged, or seriously dating (with an eye toward marriage) please consider coming to the couple’s retreat on campus. It is full of great food, amazing speakers, good prizes, and very important content to make your relationship healthier. If you are interested or have questions, let met know right away.

What?  HU Couples Retreat “Communication: Key to Intimacy”

Who?  Married and Engaged Couples (At least one spouse or fiancé an HU student or alum) (Seriously Dating with an eye toward engagement also considered)

When?  Friday evening (6:30 p.m.) on February 12 to Saturday afternoon on February 13 (1:30 p.m.)

Where?  Huntington University’s campus

Far Away? I will subsidize a hotel stay for married couples for the night of February 12 in Huntington up to $100.00 if you are outside of Huntington County for a limited number of couples. 

Guest Speakers? Steve and Twyla Lee

Cost?  ONLY $10.00 per couple!!!!!  This will pay for the cost of your materials (books), as well as the speakers. This also includes a pizza dinner Friday night, breakfast on Saturday, and lunch on Saturday. A grant underwrites the rest of the cost. If you complete the whole program (retreat, assessment, and come to the great date night on March 5 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.), you will get a $30.00 gift card as well as other incentives.  The grant also covers a Great Date Night in March, which is a $35.00 value.

You may email the professor to reserve a spot, but the $10.00 will lock in your place. You can either send a check to the address below, made out to Huntington University, or drop cash or a check off to Loew-Brenn 297 in a sealed envelope, which you can slide under the door. Make sure you include your name and the email address you currently are using so that you can be made aware of updates to the retreat.
