MEN’S BASKETBALL

Three Forester men’s basketball players in Zach Goodline, Caleb Middlesworth and Hank Pulver earned postseason praise from the Crossroads League as revealed by the league office earlier today.

An Oakland University transfer, Goodline made his presence known as soon as he stepped onto campus this fall. The 6-1 sophomore averaged a team-leading 17.3 points and 5.0 assists per night in addition to pulling down 4.5 rebounds and swiping 1.3 steals to garner First Team All-Conference accolades.

Goodline (Coloma HS, Coloma, Mich.) currently ranks 4th in assists per game, 9th in free throw percentage (.782) and 11th in scoring among his league peers.

For the second straight year, Middlesworth earned a spot on the Second Team. The 6-8 forward tossed in 15.6 points per game, the 15th best in the CL standings, in addition to posting 3.7 rebounds and 1.0 assists per night.

The Oak Hill product (Marion, Ind.) buried a team-best 2.5 threes per game (58 total) at a pace of 42.6 percent to rank 4th and 8th respectively among his league peers.

Rounding out HU’s All-Conference honorees was Pulver (Huntington North HS, Roanoke, Ind.) who was voted onto the Honorable Mention Team. As his team’s third leading scorer, the 6-8 sophomore forward tossed in 12.2 points per night to go along with averaging 5.3 rebounds, 1.8 assists and 0.67 blocks. He currently sits 13th in the CL standings in rebounds and blocks per game.

HU wrapped up the year with an overall record of 16-11.
