The Crossroads League announced that Huntington sophomore Higor Barbieri has been voted this week’s CL Men’s Soccer Offensive Player of the Week.

Barbieri led the Foresters to a pair of wins last week to keep his team perfect on the season at 3-0. In HU’s 4-0 win over Siena Heights, the Dodge City CC transfer found back netting twice. He followed up that performance with another goal on Saturday against Michigan-Dearborn in addition to adding an assist.

To date, he has posted five goals and an assist for 11 points on the year. Next up for HU is the Lawrence Tech Invitational where they will face the University of Tennessee Southern on Saturday at 4:00 p.m.
