HU Esports Enters GLEC, First Match This Saturday

Huntington University Esports will compete in their first intercollegiate match this Saturday at 10:00 a.m. In August, HU Esports was accepted into the Great Lakes Esports Conference (GLEC), joining 15 other schools in Indiana, Michigan, and Ohio, including Anderson, Bethel, Grace, Manchester, Saint Francis, and Trine. For the fall 2021 season, HU Esports will compete in two events: Overwatch (PC) and Super Smash Bros Ultimate (Switch). The regular season runs nine weeks, from September 11 to November 6, and will feature 17 matches, including seven home games that will be broadcast live on the HU Esports Twitch channel.
