Chapel Sept. 14 – Mark Vincenti

Mark A. Vincenti is a pastor and writer. Born and raised in south-central Pennsylvania, his passion for music and soccer took him to college in Huntington, Indiana, where God called him into full-time vocational ministry. He studied youth ministry, earning a bachelor’s degree in educational ministries from Huntington University, and went on to earn his master’s degree in biblical studies from Lancaster Bible College. He has also earned a graduate certificate in small group ministries (LBC), a certificate in spiritual transformation from the Transforming Center, and has done doctoral work at Evangelical Seminary. Mark is an ordained elder in the Church of the United Brethren in Christ and has served as youth pastor and pastor of spiritual formation in the local church as well as various roles at the denominational level. He published his first book, Pursuing the Third Option: Following Jesus in a Polarized World in 2018. He has been married to his sweetheart since 1999, and they currently reside in Indiana, where they enjoy life with their four children. When he is not at church or at home, he is often spotted in jazz clubs with his drum set or on soccer fields with a ball at his foot and a whistle around his neck.

Join us at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday in Zurcher Auditorium for worship and to welcome Mark as campus pastor!
