CROSS COUNTRY

For the second straight week, HU freshman Shelby Christman was tabbed the Crossroads League Women’s Cross Country Runner of the Week as announced earlier this afternoon.

Christman topped the field of 166 runners at the Ray Bullock Invitational hosted by Taylor on Friday night to edge a pair of runners from the defending national champion St. Francis (Ill.) lineup. The Fort Wayne native posted a winning time of 18:10 to claim the individual title.

The Foresters are off until October 1 when they host their own invitational.
