HU Esports Recap – October 2
HU Esports Smash Bros team faced #1 ranked Bethel last weekend. Bethel’s Smash team had a perfect record so far in the fall GLEC tournament, but thanks to the Foresters, that is no longer the case. After winning Game 2, the Huntington forced the undefeated Pilots to a nerve-racking Game 3 but ultimately fell with a final score of 2-1.

Our Smash team currently ranks 7th in the 10-team GLEC tournament. We face Trine this Saturday, Oct 9. The match will be broadcast live on HU’s Esports Twitch channel starting at 10:00 a.m.
The Overwatch team suffered another defeat this week, losing 3-0 against GLEC veterans Ohio Northern. A replay of this match can be found on ONU’s Esports Twitch channel by clicking here. Our next Overwatch match is this Saturday at noon versus #7 Mount Union and will also be broadcast on the HU Twitch channel.
