Huntington Public Library is Looking for Tutors Like You

Madison Rigel from The Huntington City-Township Public Library will be visiting Thursday, November 4 from 12:30-3:00 p.m. in the HUB. The library is looking for tutors like you who would be willing to volunteer their time at the Literacy Services Center to help tutor children in one-on-one sessions.

Tutors are essential to the work of spreading literacy throughout the cities of Huntington and Markle, and all you need is to be willing to share your knowledge with a child. Subject areas that need to be filled include reading, writing, math, English, and Spanish. Training is offered. If you are interested, stop by Madison’s table! You can also contact the Literacy Services Center at (260) 356-0824, or email literacy@hctpl.info.
