Consider registering for EN224 Stories from the Future. This course will explore both classic and contemporary science fiction, including Arthur Clarke’s Childhood’s End (also author of 2001: Space Odyssey), Philip K. Dick’s Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep (on which the movie Bladerunner is based), Robert Heinlein’s Stranger in a Strange Land, Orson Scott Card’s The Worthing Saga (also author of Ender’s Game), Ursula Le Guin’s Left Hand of Darkness, and African American sci fi writers Octavia Butler’s short story collection, Blood Child, and Nnedi Okorafor’s Binti trilogy.
