New Programming on Forester Radio
Did you know that Huntington University has its own student-operated radio station – 105.5 FM WQHU? Forester Radio plays upbeat, meaningful, and inspiring music to help you get through your day! And this semester, the radio practicum class has been working hard to get some exciting new programming on the air. Here’s what you can expect on Forester Radio this semester:
- Daily at 4:00 a.m., 12:00 p.m., 8:00 p.m. – Short and sweet mental health tips and encouragement – “Mental Health Minute”
- Tuesdays from 7:00-8:00 p.m. – Pop punk/alternative music show – “A Night in the Pit” (LIVE)
- Wednesdays from 1:00-2:00 p.m. –Christian music variety from ’80s-’00s – “Wayback Wednesday” (LIVE)
- Thursdays from 7:00-8:00 p.m. – Animation talk and music variety show – “Cartoon Crazy Hour” (LIVE)
- Fridays from 1:30-2:00 p.m. – Interview/talk show with HU coaches – “Coach’s Corner” (LIVE)
- Fridays from 6:00-7:00 p.m. – Metal music show – “Heavy Cheese” (LIVE)
- Saturdays from 12:00-12:30 p.m. – Tech talk show – “Tech Talks”
