MEN’S TENNIS
The Huntington men’s tennis team kicked off the Doc Richards Invitational with a 4-1 win over Lewis-Clark State Clark at the Howard County Tennis Center Thursday night.
Given the tourney is set up to play to clinch and the match got off to a late start, HU and the Warriors (8-8) started off with singles action. Since the Foresters won four points to claim the win, the two squads did not go on to play any doubles matches.
With this win, HU improves to 11-11. Poncio and crew were back in action Saturday to face IU Southeast at 9:00 a.m. in Fort Wayne.
