SEWING project: Feminine Hygiene Products for Liberia

This year we are once again sewing to help make feminine hygiene products to send to Liberia and South Sudan to help enable girls to stay in school and graduate. You do NOT need to know how to sew. We can either teach you or have you help with the many other steps that do not involve sewing.

We will be sewing tonight, Thursday, September 1, from 6:00-8:00 p.m. and again Saturday, September 10, from 3:30-5:30 p.m.

We would love to have you join us. We sew at a “sewing barn” that houses about 20 sewing machines located a few miles north of town. If you would like to join, contact Prof. Nancy Richison at nrichison@huntington.edu. Everyone is welcome.
