ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) Picnic Table

The Huntington University Student Occupational Therapy Association (SOTA) is thrilled to announce the completion of our ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) picnic table project. The SOTA club began collecting bottle caps across home campus and beyond last year to recycle into a wheelchair-friendly picnic table in our HU colors! We are proud to announce that this table is finally a reality and is now sitting in front of Dowden Science Hall. Thank you to those who contributed to this project to make the campus more welcoming for those with disabilities and for being good stewards! Special thanks also go to Nate Perry for picking up the table for us and Natisha Ball for organizing and overseeing this project.
