MEN’S TENNIS

The HU men’s tennis team brought an end to the six-game win streak #RV Indiana Tech brought to Klopfenstein Courts Saturday morning by handing their guests a 4-3 loss. The Forester win is the first over Tech since the fall of 2013.

It was Augustin Agosto’s win at #1 singles, a 7-5, 6-4 decision over Michel Zobel, that secured Huntington’s final point.

With this win, Poncio’s crew moves to 8-1 on the season and sends them into the Crossroads League tournament on a high note. As the #2 seed with a CL record of 7-1, HU hosts 7th-seeded Bethel in quarterfinal action on Tuesday at 4:00 p.m.
