SEWING Project: Feminine Hygiene Products

Once again we will be sewing feminine hygiene products at the sewing barn. These products are sent out from Maryland to Liberia and South Sudan to help enable girls to stay in school and graduate. You do NOT need to know how to sew. We can either teach you or have you help with the many other steps that do not involve sewing.

We will be sewing tonight, Thursday, September 29, from 6:00-8:00 p.m. It’s a great, relaxing evening where you can socialize, unwind, meet new people, and do something beneficial at the same time!

We would love to have you join us. We sew at a “sewing barn” that houses about 20 sewing machines located a few miles north of town. If you would like to join, contact Prof. Nancy Richison at nrichison@huntington.edu. Everyone is welcome.
