Junior Film Auditions, “Last Dance”
We are hosting auditions Sunday, January 29 for our Junior Film “Last Dance.”
The film follows a young dancer who injures herself during a performance, who with the help of her friend overcomes her doubt and recaptures her passion. We are looking for actors who are available for filming February 17-19.
The roles open include:
Lorelei – Has a strong passion for dance and a love for her friends but she holds her fear of failure with a tight grip. She is stubborn and refuses to let anyone down, even if it means taking risks and putting herself in danger. (Must have ballet experience)
Peyton – Lorelei’s best friend and fellow dancer. He cares for his friend and will do anything to support her and their dream of dance. Having grown up with Lorelei, he knows when something is wrong. He is a loyal friend and does what is best even if it means pushing her out of her comfort zone. (Must have dance and/or ballet experience)
Ballet Master Florence – A severe man with a tragic past, Master Florence demands perfection from his dancers, and as the ballet master and choreographer of an esteemed ballet company, he has a reputation to uphold. He has high expectations for Lorelei and is disappointed when they aren’t met. Though he is a man of business, excellence, and high expectation, he is also a man of second chances. (No dance experience required)
