INDOOR TRACK & FIELD

For the second time this season, the USTFCCCA has tabbed Huntington’s Addy Wiley the M-F Athletic National Athlete of the Week at the NAIA level for winning the elite mile at the Camel City Invitational, a feat no other collegiate female has done.

In addition to her time of 4:32.15 setting a new Forester and JDL Fast Track record, she crushed the previous all-time NAIA indoor record by more than five seconds. Her mark is currently also the second fastest indoor mile across all collegiate divisions.

Wiley has the fastest time in the NAIA in five different races including the 600 (1:29.77), 800 (2:09.76), 1000 (2:51.56), mile (4:32.15) and 3000 (9:24.28). Along with her mile time, the rookie speedster also holds the NAIA indoor record in the 600.

This is Wiley’s fourth M-F Athletic National Athlete of the Week badge with her first two designations coming in cross country this past fall.
