Spanish Interpreter
The Meal Ministry in downtown Huntington serves a free meal to the community every night, seven nights a week from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Many of the participants are homeless and come to the meal ministry with a variety of needs. Recently, there are more and more participants who speak Spanish as a primary language, so communication has become a barrier. The Meal Ministry could better serve their participants with a student who is fluent in Spanish and would be willing to volunteer to assist them in interpreting the needs.
