Actor needed for “Meet Me in St. Louis”

The Huntington University Theatre Company is currently seeking a replacement actor for the spring musical Meet Me in St. Louis. The role is written as male but could be a “pants role” (female dressed as a male). It has one spoken line and also involves singing with the chorus and participating in some choreography numbers (no formal dance training required).

Regular rehearsals are Monday-Thursday 7:00-10:00 p.m. March 6-23. Tech Saturday is all day on March 25, dress rehearsals are March 27-29, and performances are March 30-April 1 (two performances on April 1). We are able to excuse the actor from a few regular rehearsals if necessary, but they must be there for tech/dress rehearsals and performances (we will send a note to faculty to please excuse participants from class for this activity).
