YMCA Partnership

Huntington University and the Parkview Huntington Family YMCA have partnered to allow HU students the opportunity to become YMCA members and use the YMCA facility at no cost for individual workouts and recreational activities. Due to the space constraints produced by the PLEX renovation project, this will support HU students who desire to utilize exercise and recreational spaces. Students will be able to use the YMCA facility under this partnership through April 30 for the spring semester and will then resume on September 1 for the fall semester. Any local students who desire to continue utilizing the YMCA may do so during the summer months, at their expense and the YMCA’s discounted rate for students. Students should be prepared to complete onboarding paperwork when visiting the YMCA for the first time and have proof of HU enrollment (e.g., current class schedule). The YMCA is located very close to HU’s home campus (1160 500 N, Huntington, Indiana 46750; immediately next to the Parkview Huntington Hospital).
