Forester Lecture Tonight

Forester Lecture tonight at 7:00 p.m. in Zurcher Auditorium

Have you ever wondered if faith and academic pursuits are separate? Have you wondered how to unite them?

Tonight, Professor Russell Howell of Westmont College will present on faith integration. Professor Howell is co-editor of the widely-known, and highly regarded, edited volume Mathematics through the Eyes of Faith. Professor Howell is the inaugural Brabenec Lecturer (details here) for the Association of Christians in the Mathematical Sciences (details here). Note: This Forester Lecture is intended for a general audience (i.e., it is not a technical talk).

For a more technical talk relating to recursive algorithms, which are often considered “elegant solutions” to problems in computer science, all are additionally invited to Dr. Howell’s Smith Lecture in Hiner Hall this afternoon at 4:00 p.m.

Please plan to join us for one or both of these lectures. The Forester Lecture is approved for spiritual formation credit.
