Chief Keirsh’s Safety Tip

This week’s tip is about safe driving. With the warmer weather and safer road conditions, officers of HUPD have noticed more speed and traffic violations on and around home campus. Please remember the streets surrounding our campus are city streets and traffic citations can be issued. With an increase in construction traffic, pedestrian traffic, and campus visitors, safety is our priority. Please obey all speed limits and traffic laws at all times around campus. In the coming weeks, officers from HUPD will be conducting targeted radar and traffic enforcement on the campus roadways.
