Sophomore Tyler Papenbrock had another impressive outing on the mound last week to earn his second Crossroads League Baseball Pitcher of the Week accolade as announced by the national office earlier today.

Papenbrock tossed a gem against Bethel to lead his team to a 13-1 victory. He spent the first six frames on the bump where he allowed just one hit and three walks while fanning six BU hitters.

It was Papenbrock’s fifth win of the year. To date, he has pitched a team-leading 41.1 innings during which he has given up 28 hits, 13 runs and 20 walks while striking out 57 for an ERA of 2.83.

HU (19-8, 13-3) hits the road for Taylor on Thursday for a twin bill with the Trojans.
