WOMEN’S GOLF – Coffey Break

After over a month’s break, the HU women’s golf team was back in action Saturday for the IU Kokomo Invitational where inclement weather shortened the day to just 18 holes. The Foresters turned in a 352 to finish third out of four teams.

Grace Dill paced the Foresters with an 86. Danielle Tinsley fired an 88. Abby Sheehan and Lauren Slottke each posted an 89 while Lexy Turpchinoff carded a 100.

“We have been working on our mindset and focusing on what we control, and today’s weather conditional definitely challenged us,” said Coach Patrick Davis. “I’m with how we fought and competed on every shot.”

Huntington is back in action on April 10 for the Sagamore Shoot Out hosted by Indiana Wesleyan.
