Do you have any registration holds?
Spring has arrived in the Forest! And with it comes registration for the fall semester!
Before you register for this summer or next fall, check out the HU Portal to make sure that you do not have any holds that will prevent you from registering for summer or fall semesters.
Here’s how you can view your holds on the Portal:
1. Visit the HU Hold Status Page
2. Once there, log in to the Portal
3. See if any holds are listed for you! If you see “No results returned by this query,” you are in the clear and do not have any holds!
Not all holds are financial holds, so make sure you carefully read how to resolve your specific hold.
However, if you do have a financial hold and you want to make a payment, follow these steps:
1. Feel free to stop by the Office of Business and Finance in Becker Hall to make a payment in person
2. You may also make a payment online by visiting our “Make a Payment” page on the Portal
Follow these steps to make a payment online!
1. Visit the Portal to make a payment
2. Login to the portal, then scroll to the bottom of the page and click “Pay Your Student Fines (Nelnet)”
3. Fill out the form to pay your fines; you may use credit/debt card or an ACH bank draft
