First Forester Lecture of the Season
We’ve all heard about how artificial intelligence is impacting education. There are larger issues as well. For example, is it always the case that if a machine “can” do something for us, it necessarily “should” do it?
On Thursday, September 21, Jason Thacker (director of the research institute and research fellow in Christian ethics at The Ethics and Religious Liberty Commission of the Southern Baptist Convention)
will present the first Forester Lecture of the academic year. Mr. Thacker’s lecture title is “The Ethics of Artificial Intelligence.”
This event qualifies for spiritual life credit. There is more to an HU education than classroom instruction. We hope to see you there!
