Sewing project: Feminine Hygiene Products for Liberia

We have two opportunities to participate in the sewing project this week. Thursday night from 6:00-8:00 p.m. and again on Saturday morning from 10:00 a.m. – noon (as a part of the Friesen Center’s Fall Serve Day on campus). We have been having a great turnout and would love for anyone on campus who is interested to come and join us. You do not need to know how to sew to join us!

We sew feminine hygiene products that we package into kits to be sent to countries such as Liberia. This helps girls stay in school and complete their education.

The address for the sewing barn is 706 W 800 N, Huntington, IN. (If you come Saturday, you can meet and ride with the group participating in the Fall Serve Day.)

If you have any questions, please reach out to Prof. Nancy Richison at nrichison@huntington.edu.
