Valentine Card Service Event

As a volunteer service project, the Friesen Center is providing packets of Valentine’s Day card-making supplies for students to host a card-making event.

We ask that you also record the event in a short “TikTok Style” video and submit it for a chance to win a Starbucks gift card! Groups can add to the packets with their own supplies if they prefer. You can write Bible verses, best wishes, and even edifying puns on the cards to brighten the recipient’s day.

Packets are available in the Office of Student Life. Each packet will make approximately 8-10 cards.

All completed cards should be put back in the packet Ziplock bag and returned to Student Life by 5:00 pm on February 6.

This would be a great floor activity or friend activity.
Time spent making the cards can be recorded as service hours via the HU Portal or the HU app.
