Senior Film Auditions, “A Fugue in a Minor Folly”

We are hosting auditions on Friday, September 13 and September 20 for our Senior Film “A Fugue in a Minor Folly”

Summary:
A comedic farce that follows the actor Nigel, who after suffering an unfortunate head injury embarks on a personal quest to find purpose, love, and the meaning of life.

Roles Open Include:
Nigel/Sir Gaffe – An actor who plays the character Sir Gaffe in the medieval comedy being shot in the film. Nigel is an extremely nervous actor and unsure in his ability. Sir Gaffe is a confident, boisterous knight who is overconfident in himself. The role will require someone to be able to switch between the two characters.

Belinda/Mary – An airheaded but kind daughter of Lord Pompanade. She is immediately in love with Sir Gaffe and wants to be with him despite her father’s wishes in a “Romeo and Juliet” sort of way. Mary is the actress who plays Belinda. She is pushy, professional, and hates the actor who plays Sir Gaffe’s lack of spine.

Filming Dates:
We will be filming the weekend of October 4-6
