‘Tis the Season Auditions

The Huntington University Department of Performing Arts is preparing to kick off the holiday season with a musical Christmas extravaganza, and we’re looking for solo/ensemble members to help make it a magical night! Interested in auditioning? Click here to sign up for an audition slot.

Auditioners are asked to prepare a short selection from any Christmas carol (one verse/chorus is fine). Joni Killian will be present to accompany you — no taped accompaniment or a capella singing. If you are having trouble selecting a song or don’t feel confident without sheet music, you may choose to prepare one of the pieces we will be using for the production (see sign-up sheet for a link to several options). ADDITIONAL INFO: Rehearsals for both choir and solo/ensemble parts will be Monday-Wednesday days from 3:00-4:00 p.m., with a few possible rehearsals from 4:00-5:00 p.m. Tech Saturday is November 16 (daytime rehearsal), and tech week is November 18-21 (rehearsals 7:00-11:00 p.m). Performance dates are November 22-23 at 7:30 p.m.
