Service Opportunity – Sewing Project

Sewing Event Tonight: 

This THURSDAY, October 24, from 6:00-8:00 p.m., we will be hosting our next sewing event. We are sewing feminine hygiene products to send to young women in schools in Liberia.

We would love volunteers to help sew, no experience necessary. We have both sewing and non-sewing work to do, and we can easily teach you how to sew if you want to learn! It is a great time to relax and socialize with others while still assisting in a worthwhile cause (and eat snacks!).

Future sewing dates for the semester are as follows:

  • Thursday 11/7 – 6:00-8:00 p.m.
  • Saturday 11/16 – 3:30-5:30 p.m.
  • Thursday 11/21 – 6:00-8:00 p.m.
