Casting Call for Freshman Film Project

Filming Dates: November 15-17
Location: Science Hall Basement

I’m looking for talented actors for my freshman film project, which explores themes of grief and faith. This short film centers around a nurse navigating personal struggles while delivering difficult news to patients. I’m looking for actors who can convey inner conflict and questions of faith in a subtle, expressive way.

Synopsis:
When a weary nurse must deliver devastating news to a couple, she seeks emotional solace while grappling with her own grief. Her moments of reflection are interrupted by her duties, culminating in a desperate moment where she discards her rosary and forces a smile to face her next patient.

Roles Needed:

  • The Nurse: Early 20s
  • Couple: Able to portray late 20s (actual age may vary)

If interested or for more details, please reach out to Lindsey Moreau, my producer, at moreaul@huntington.edu. Thank you for considering this opportunity—I look forward to collaborating with those who feel connected to the story’s themes.
