OUTDOOR TRACK & FIELD

The HU outdoor track and field program sent a partial squad to Texas this week to compete in the Clyde Littlefield Texas Relays and the Bobcat Invitational. Highlighting their time in the Lone Star State was in sprints where Celestin Trambloy automatically qualified for NAIA nationals in the 400-meter hurdles with his time of 53.14 which also proved the second fastest time in program history. Jonathan Farinha also left his mark in the Huntington record books by claiming the top spot in the 100 meters (10.37) and the No. 2 spot in the 200 meters (21.06).

On the women’s side, senior Emily Tedder hit the provisional mark in the mile by clocking in at 4:35.55.
