WOMEN’S GOLF
After a tough opening road event, the Huntington University women’s golf team bounced back to finish third at the 2025 Stonehenge Invitational, posting a 36-hole team total of 644 (+76) at Stonehenge Golf Club.
The Foresters opened with a 340 (+36) in Round 1 but responded with an impressive 304 (+20) in Round 2 — the lowest team round of the year and just four strokes shy of the school record. Counting scores for the team came from Magnolia Miller, who set a college career-low 73 in Round 2 after an opening 82; Riley Kitson, who fired a career-low 76 after an opening 89; Grace Dill, who carded 84 and 74; and Aniyah Copeland, who shot 85 and 84. Their combined efforts secured Huntington’s podium finish.
Madelyn Weaver contributed rounds of 91 and 81 as a non-counting score, while Myleigh Moon competed individually with rounds of 94 and 92.
For the third consecutive week, Magnolia Miller earned All-Tournament Team honors, highlighting her consistency and strong play throughout the fall season.
In a competitive ten-team field, Taylor captured the team title with a 603 (+35), Grace finished second at 629 (+61), and Huntington secured third place with 644 (+76).
The Foresters will return to action October 20–21 at the Saints Classic, hosted at Warren Golf Course in Notre Dame, Ind.
