MEN’S GOLF

The Huntington University men’s golf team turned in a strong performance at The Fall Classic, hosted at Harbor Shores Golf Club in Benton Harbor, Michigan, finishing second overall in a competitive six-team field.

Cooper Trigg led the Foresters with rounds of 75 and 73, securing second place individually. His steady play helped Huntington post one of its most consistent team showings of the fall.

Trey Spring carded scores of 74 and 83, while Carter Hall added rounds of 75 and 82. Steven Webb contributed 79 and 83, and Mason Reeves showed strong improvement, shaving 12 strokes off his opening round with scores of 93 and 81.

In the team standings, Lawrence Tech captured first place, followed by Huntington in second and the host Bethel Pilots in third. The Foresters’ runner-up finish is the best showing of the fall season as they enter their fall finale on October 20th and 21st in The Saints Classic hosted at the Warren Golf Course in Notre Dame, Indiana.
