WOMEN’S INDOOR TRACK AND FIELD

Hillsdale, Mich. & University Center, Mich. – The Huntington University women’s indoor track & field team opened the 2025–26 campaign with a busy opening week, sending multi-event athletes to the Hillsdale College Multi before a large sprint and quarter-mile group competed at the SVSU Holiday Open. The Foresters turned in several encouraging early-season performances across both meets, highlighted by strong showings from seniors Trysta Hilton and Laura Valiente-Marin, junior Addyson Dowler, and a deep freshman class making their collegiate debuts.

TOP PERFORMERS 

Hillsdale College Multi (Pentathlon)
Senior Trysta Hilton opened her year with a sharp 9.47 in the 60m hurdles, while sophomore Anna Jeannin highlighted the week with a third-place finish in the high jump (1.58m) and a complete five-event pentathlon performance. 

SVSU Holiday Open
Junior Addyson Dowler clocked a personal-best 7.95 in the 60m.
The Foresters shined in the 400m, placing four runners inside the top 12, led by Hilton (5th – 1:00.80) and freshmen Saniya BrinkleyLaura Valiente-Marin, and Anna Sullivan.
