BOWLING
Senior Michael Lichtenberg has been named the Crossroads League Bowler of the Week, as announced by the league office earlier this afternoon. The honor comes on the heels of a dominant performance at the second Crossroads League Tournament held Saturday at EZ Bowl in Bluffton.
Lichtenberg claimed the individual title, turning in one of the strongest series of the season with a three-game total of 719 and an impressive 239.7 average. His standout moment came in game two, where he rolled a 278, his highest score of the day and a defining frame in his path to the top of the leaderboard.
His performance helped guide the Foresters to a fourth-place team finish, ending the tournament with a total score of 5,293.
Next up for Lichtenberg and Huntington is the Kegel/ISBPA Midwest Collegiate Classic, scheduled for January 17–18 in Addison, Illinois, where the Foresters will compete against one of the strongest collegiate fields in the country.
