WOMEN’S TENNIS
Crossroads League officials announced earlier today that senior Isabella Herrera has been named the Crossroads League Women’s Tennis Player of the Week.
Herrera helped the Foresters turn in a strong showing at Lawrence Tech despite a narrow 4-3 team setback. Competing at the top of the lineup, the senior secured a 6-4, 6-0 victory at No. 1 singles and added a 6-1 win at No. 2 doubles.
This marks the second Crossroads League weekly honor of Herrera’s career in Forester green.
Huntington, currently receiving votes in the NAIA National Poll, sits at 4-4 on the year and will travel to University of Indianapolis on Saturday for their next test.
