OUTDOOR TRACK & FIELD

The Huntington pole vaulters made the most of a unique competition setup Wednesday afternoon at Indiana Tech’s Only 40 Degrees Invite, where uncooperative weather forced a shift indoors and limited the meet to jumps and pole vault.

Despite the change in format, the Foresters delivered strong performances on both sides. Caleb Farr led the way for the men with a third-place finish, clearing 4.65 meters. On the women’s side, Emma Schiffli also turned in a solid showing, taking fourth after surpassing 3.23 meters.

The Foresters will look to build on that momentum when they return to action April 10-11 at the Tennessee Invitational, hosted by the University of Tennessee in Knoxville, Tennessee.
