In a classic Crossroads League defensive slugfest, the Huntington University men’s soccer team battled through 90 scoreless minutes to earn a 0-0 draw on the road against #RV Grace on Saturday night at 1st Source Bank Field.

The result marks the Foresters’ first clean sheet and first draw of the 2026 campaign, moving Huntington to 3-4-1 overall (0-1-1 CL) while the Lancers shift to 2-4-4 (0-1-1 CL).

Both backlines dictated the tempo throughout the evening in front of nearly 500 fans, limiting clean scoring looks and neutralizing attacking runs. Junior goalkeeper Zane Hydock anchored the Forester defense between the pipes, turning aside all four shots on goal he faced across 90 minutes of action to secure the shutout.

Grace outshot Huntington 12-5 overall and held a 4-2 edge in shots on goal, but Hydock and the Forester defense refused to break. Hydock came up with crucial stops in the second half, turning away back-to-back chances from Eric Favere and Sebastian Lozano in the 64th minute before denying Noah Ballard in the 79th minute.

On the attack, Micah Colvin paced Huntington’s offense, generating both of the Foresters’ shots on target against Grace keeper Ben Kenn. Nacho Morales added two attempts, and Samuel Edem fired a late strike, but neither side could break the deadlock before the final whistle.
