MEN’S TENNIS

The Huntington men’s tennis team remained perfect on the season at 4-0 by knocking off #25 Marian and then breezing past Bethel Wednesday afternoon at Ward Baker Park.

The day started off with HU outlasting the Knights 5-2. It was a hard fought battle that saw Angel Vazquez clinch the win at #5 singles after saving four match points to defeat Jones McNamar.

The Foresters went on to sweep the host Pilots 5-0 to wrap up a great day of tennis. Huntington is currently riding a two-game win streak over Marian and has logged 15 straight wins over Bethel, a win streak that started back in 2009.

HU will be at home for the first time this season on Saturday to host Spring Arbor and Grace.
