Fall Honey Harvest Party

Ever wonder how honey is made? Join the HU Hort Club as we harvest honey our campus bees produced. Feel free to stop by for any length of time between noon and 5:00 p.m. in the Ware Plant Science Production Facility (the greenhouse on the first floor of the Science Hall, near the loading dock) to see the process and lend a hand. Don’t worry, there won’t be any bees present, as we have already removed the honey frames from the beehives.

Free honey samples and snack food! Plus, anyone who helps for at least an hour is welcome to take home an 8 oz. honey bear containing some of the freshly harvested honey. Contact Kayla (estradawilsonk@huntington.edu) or Collin (chobbs@huntington.edu) if you have questions.
