SEWING project: Feminine Hygiene Products for Liberia
We are once again meeting to sew to make feminine hygiene products to send to young women in schools in Liberia. This enables these girls to stay in school and complete their education.
This THURSDAY, January 11, from 6:00-8:00 p.m. will be our first sewing event of the semester. We would love volunteers to help sew, no experience necessary. We have both sewing and non-sewing work to do, and we can easily teach you how to sew if you want to learn! It is a great time to relax and socialize with others while still assisting in a worthwhile cause.
Please contact Prof. Nancy Richison at nrichison@huntington.edu for directions and more information.
